How much does Synagein cost?

Currently the app is free. There is a monthly subscription for premium users of $8.99/month or $84/yearly. There is also a cost for hiring a trainer.

How much does it cost to get a trainer?

Trainers set their own prices. There will also be fees which may include: Stripe processing fees, credit card transaction fees, and sales tax.

How do I book a trainer?

From the Home screen you select the"Trainers" button. You can then choose from the list of trainers based on price, background, ratings, and certifications. Select your trainer and book an available time.

Is Synagein compatible with iOS and Android?

Yes

Can I cancel my trainer appointment?

Yes. Please review the Terms of Agreement document for more detail. If you cancel a training session with less than 24 hours from start time, you will be charged a cancellation fee along with processing fees. Cancellations between 1 hour and 24 hours from start time will result in a $5 cancellation fee. Cancellations within an hour of start time or a no show will be charged $10 cancellation fee.

Can I end the training session early?

Yes. The client is allowed to terminate the training session at any time. This may be for reasons such as, poor internet connection, lack of professionalism from the trainer, inappropriate behavior from the trainer, etc. The user will still be charged at a prorated price. Example: $60/hour training session. The member ends the session after 6 minutes due to poor internet connection. The member would then be charged $6 plus any additional taxes and fees.

Are there any age restrictions?

Yes. All users must be at least 18 years of age.

Can I use Synagein to make video calls with friends?

Yes. Two users who follow one another are able to participate in a Synagein live workout video call. On the Home Page tap on the Camera icon and select a friend you'd like to start a video call with.

Can I become a trainer?

If you are interested in becoming a trainer, you can email us at support@synageinfitness.com. Subject line: Trainer Application. Tell us about your training experience and home setup. We are always looking to add to our training staff. Trainers use the Synagein Trainer App, which you will have to download. Our trainers are 1099 employees who set their own hours and prices. You will need to upload appropriate tax forms into the Trainer App and any training certificates that you may hold (none are required). Based on this information, Synagein staff will activate your trainer account if approved.

Do trainers need a certification?

No. It is encouraged to have training certifications across various disciplines, but none are required by Synagein.

How are video call minutes calculated?

Video call minutes are calculated by the length of a video call times the number of users on that call. There must be at least one premium user to initiate a peer to peer video call. In the scenario of one premium user and one standard user, the premium user would have the total minutes charged from their balance. In the scenario with two premium users, the minutes are split evenly between both users.
